Powerful spots ‘Misleading’ and ‘Life and Death’ begin airing five weeks before the November 3rd General Election, exposing Amendment 3 for overturning the will of voters and the harm it will cause to Missouri families
Missouri – Today, NO on 3, Stop the Ban launches two powerful new ads, “Misleading” and “Life and Death” to expose the lies and dirty tricks of politicians who are trying to overturn the will of voters and ban abortion.
”Misleading” features retired Supreme Court of Missouri Chief Justice Michael Wolff.
Judge Wolff calls out Amendment 3 as “Misleading,” informing Missourians that the amendment will actually ban abortion and prevent doctors from providing basic health care. The spot also highlights politicians’ dirty tricks by reminding Missourians that transgender care for minors was banned in 2023 and will remain banned no matter the outcome of the election.
In the second spot, “Life and Death”, a St. Louis mother shares her experience with a life-threatening pregnancy complication that required abortion care. She exposes the harm that Amendment 3 would have had on her family as a warning for all Missourians.
The NO on 3, Stop the Ban Missouri campaign released the following statement on the spots “Misleading” and “Life and Death”:
“The anti-abortion politicians pushing Amendment 3 are selling a lie to overturn the will of voters, repeal the Right to Reproductive Freedom, and ban abortion. The truth is the same politicians banned transgender care for minors three years ago and that ban will remain in effect no matter how we vote in this election. What they don’t want to talk about is how Amendment 3 overturns all of the protections we passed in 2024 for birth control, prenatal and postpartum care, respectful birthing conditions, and abortion.”

Speaker 1:
I'm Judge Mike Wolff, retired chief justice. I've studied Amendment 3. Amendment 3 is intended to and will bring back an abortion ban. It'll keep doctors from providing basic essential medically necessary healthcare. The legislature banned transgender care for minors a couple of years ago. Misleading, that's what it is. Don't let politicians fool us into banning abortion again.
Speaker 2:
Vote NO on 3 to stop the abortion ban.

Speaker 1:
I'm Eunisha, a mom in St. Louis, Missouri. When I was pregnant, it was causing me extreme hemorrhaging. The doctors were telling me that it was medically necessary for me to have an abortion. It was life and death. If Amendment Three was to pass, I wouldn't have been able to get those procedures done. I wouldn't be here. Four of my children wouldn't be here. The reason I'm voting no is because Amendment Three is a ban on abortion. Women should be able to make their own decisions about their own medical care. Vote no on three to stop the abortion ban.
