Missouri – Today, NO on 3, Stop the Ban Missouri launches “Ashley” and “Reasons,” two 30-second spots that detail the consequences of Amendment 3, highlighting its intent to overturn the will of voters and ban abortion.
The NO on 3, Stop the Ban Missouri campaign released the following statement on “Ashley”:
“Sadly, the story of ‘Ashley’ is an experience shared by numerous Missouri families: a wanted pregnancy faced with a dangerous medical complication. In 2024, Missourians voted to end Missouri’s abortion ban and protect reproductive freedom, so families can get the care they need when they need it. But now, politicians are trying to overturn our votes and bring back that dangerous ban.”
She shares that Amendment 3 would ban abortion and deny her the life-saving care that she needed. “Ashley” closes with a common Missouri value: “Politicians should not be making these important medical decisions, and that’s why I’m voting NO on Amendment 3.”

“I love being a mom and my children are the absolute joy of my life.”
“I faced a dangerous pregnancy complication and I needed abortion care to save my life, and now politicians in Missouri are trying to take that right away from us.”
“The truth is that amendment three will ban abortion. Deny me the life-saving care that I needed.”
“Politicians should not be making these important medical decisions, and that's why I'm voting no on amendment three.”
“Vote no on three to stop the abortion ban.”
In the second spot, “Reasons” provides three outcomes from Amendment 3 to help voters understand exactly what Amendment 3 was designed to do.
The NO on 3, Stop the Ban Missouri campaign released the following statement on “Reasons”:
“‘Reasons’ is designed to educate voters about the consequences of Amendment 3; It overturns the will of voters, it bans abortion, and it takes decisions away from women and their doctors, putting politicians and lawyers in charge. Missourians will vote NO and reject Amendment 3 to stop the abortion ban and protect reproductive freedom.”
“Reasons” begins airing today on broadcast and digital platforms.
