WATCH: NO on 3, Stop the Ban Missouri, Releases Launch Video Blasting Politicians For Trying to Overturn Our Votes, Ban Abortion

Video kicks off campaign to stop politicians from once again banning abortion in nearly all cases after setting election date to November 3rd 

Missouri – Today, NO on 3, Stop the Ban Missouri, released a new video, “Sacred,” that calls out anti-abortion politicians for their failure to accept the will of Missourians and for their attempts to overturn the voter-approved Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment with a new abortion ban, Amendment 3.

Amendment 3, which will appear on the November 3rd ballot, is the anti-abortion politicians’ attempt to overturn the will of the people and repeal the 2024 voter-approved Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment that guaranteed Missourians the right to access abortion care, birth control, prenatal care, IVF, and maternal health care.

“Sacred” opens with a voiceover providing detailed context about Missourians’ rejection of the abortion ban in 2024, as well as what politicians are trying to do in 2026:

“In America and here in Missouri, we believe our vote is sacred. That the people are the ones who decide. And in 2024, the people of Missouri decided to stop Missouri’s abortion ban. But now, politicians are trying to overturn the will of the people and ban abortion again.”

Headlines transition viewers from the night voters passed the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment and ended Missouri’s abortion ban to the latest schemes of politicians to put another measure on the ballot, this time forcing Missourians to vote to repeal the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment that they just approved in 2024.

The video highlights the exact ballot language that voters will see on November 3rd while the voiceover continues:

“It’s right there on the ballot, they want to repeal our vote. And bring back a ban on abortion in nearly all cases. Put politicians and lawyers in charge…instead of families and doctors. Jeopardizing the lives of patients, and threatening to throw doctors in prison for providing care.”

The piece ends by highlighting what we all know anti-abortion politicians are trying to do and how Missourians will respond:

“It’s a bait and switch, trying to trick voters. The Show Me state showed the politicians once, by voting against the near-total abortion ban. Now, we’re going to show them again. We’re saying NO to putting politicians in charge. And NO to taking away our voice. NO on 3. Stop the ban, Missouri.”
