Heartland Alliance for Progress Endorses NO on Amendment 3

Missouri – The Heartland Alliance for Progress announced it is endorsing the Stop the Ban Missouri campaign to encourage Missourians to vote NO on Amendment 3 to protect the Right to Reproductive Freedom amendment that Missourians passed in 2024. Since 2017, the Heartland Alliance for Progress has organized and activated volunteers to advance public policies and rights on numerous issues, including reproductive freedom.

“Along with thousands of Missourians, we spent countless hours collecting signatures, phone banking, and knocking on doors to put the 2024 citizen petition on the ballot so Missourians could end the ban on abortion and protect reproductive freedom,” said Sarah Starnes, founder of the Heartland Alliance for Progress. “This year’s Amendment 3 is a politician-led effort to overturn the will of voters, repeal our right to reproductive freedom, and ban abortion. Missourians will reject this attack by voting NO on Amendment 3.”

Voting NO on 3 stops politicians from overturning the work of hundreds of thousands of Missourians, voting NO on 3 protects our right to reproductive freedom, and voting NO on 3 keeps private medical decisions around pregnancy and abortion with Missourians, our families."

This November, Missourians will vote on Amendment 3, politicians’ attempt to overturn the will of the people, repeal the 2024 voter-approved Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment and ban abortion. A NO vote on Amendment 3 will protect access to abortion and the Reproductive Freedom Amendment voters passed in 2024.
