Access MO Endorses NO on Amendment 3 to Stop the Abortion Ban

Access MO, a leader among reproductive freedom advocates, announced it is endorsing the NO on 3, Stop the Ban Missouri campaign and encourages Missourians to vote NO on Amendment 3 to prevent politicians from overturning the will of voters and banning abortion. Access MO strives to build a state where comprehensive reproductive health care, including access to abortion, is guaranteed and protected, enabling all Missourians to thrive in a healthy, supportive, and equitable environment. 

“Access MO was part of the grassroots coalition in 2024 that fought to end the ban on abortion and protect reproductive health care by passing the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment,” said Dana Sandweiss, Access MO Board President and Co-Founder. “Because of the thousands of volunteers and supporters, the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment is the most powerful tool we have to secure and keep abortion rights. Amendment 3 would take that away and Missourians would lose access to the abortion care we just gained.”

In 2024, a majority of Missouri voters passed the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment to end the ban on abortion and protect reproductive freedom, including protections to access birth control, prenatal care, IVF, maternal health care, and abortion. Amendment 3 would repeal those protections.

Their endorsement is a reminder why Missourians must vote NO on 3: Amendment 3 is an abortion ban that repeals the Right to Reproductive Freedom that we just passed in 2024, putting politicians in charge of our personal medical decisions.”

This November, Missourians will vote on Amendment 3, politicians’ attempt to overturn the will of the people, repeal the 2024 voter-approved Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment and ban abortion. A NO vote on Amendment 3 will protect access to abortion and the Reproductive Freedom Amendment voters passed in 2024.
